The Club wish to congratulate Christo Kasabi having recently
achieved the honour of being the first player to start in 100
matches for the Mens 1st XV.I`m sure you will all agree this is an
exceptional milestone and we look forward to witnessing his
expertise on the field for many more occasions.
"The bottom line is, why does anybody play rugby? What makes a junior club XV player drag himself down to training on a dark, wet night in December after a long day at the office? What makes him put up with the knocks and injuries?
It's because playing rugby with your mates is just a great game; it's the beers and a bit of fun on a Saturday with your friends after achieving something good together on the pitch. That's absolutely no different in the world of professional rugby"
Brendan Venter, Director of Rugby, Saracens September 2009
