Minis
The Minis run from U7's to U12's starting with tag rugby and gradually progress through the age groups starting basic contact at U9 level with it progressing to full contact by the time they reach U12's. The Minis play a number of friendly matches throughout the season and compete in a number of festivals, in the lower age groups they run up to three teams giving children of all abilities the chance to play.
Juniors
The Juniors run from U13's to U 17's with full 15 a side teams on full sized pitches. All age groups run both A and B teams both of which compete in the Herts and Middlesex rugby leagues. During this age range boys can be selected to go through to both Hertford and Middlesex county age groups.
Junior Girls train on Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons. They also play matches on Sunday afternoons.
We are also linked into the Saracens Professional side and have a number of players playing in the Saracens Elite Professional Developement Groups and other who have progressed on to the Full Saracens Acadamy and are now playing professional rugby.
Each Age Group has its own Parent Manager and a Head Coach who will be RFU qualified, in addition each age group will have a number of other coaches most of them qualified and a number of assistants as well as first aiders.
All coaches, managers, first aiders and assistants are CRB checked and will complete the RFU Child safety course. Each age group will normally have a minimum of two fully qualified first aiders.
Regsitration of players
All players must be registered with the club who then register them with the RFU before they can train or take part in matches. The registration fee is currently £140 per annum for the first child and £100 for siblings. Registration gives membership to the club for the player and his family for the year and also covers insuring the player though the Clubs RFU Insurance policy.
